Merger Brings Significant Capacity to Columbus Office
And Grows Regional Presence for Immigration Firm
Columbus, Ohio — July 13, 2021 — Brown Immigration Law announces its merger with Columbus-based firm Muchnicki & Bittner, LLP. The new firm, which will continue under the name of Brown Immigration Law, will offer its clientele an expanded range of expertise within its immigration-based practice. The expansion of Brown Immigration Law’s Columbus office will augment the firm’s already established offices in Cleveland, Raleigh-Durham, NC and Orlando, FL. Incoming partner, Amy Bittner, has over eighteen years of experience in the practice and field of immigration law and will oversee the Columbus Office.
Ms. Bittner comes to Brown Immigration Law supported by a staff of eight other professionals, who collectively possess over three decades of immigration law experience. Additionally, Ms. Bittner and her incoming staff are all fluent in Spanish, which will significantly boost the language capabilities of Brown Immigration Law’s already multilingual workplace.
In addition to leading the Columbus Office, Ms. Bittner is currently an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law, for The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Ms. Bitter also serves as Vice-Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association National EOIR/ICE Committee. She has previously held the position of Chair of the Ohio Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
